Soltaevar “Sol” Velca’s Cheat Sheet
- Sol is co-founder and owner of Mistfire Trading Company. He and his mother started the company when they moved to Fellsgard in the aftermath of Bhelest’s Curse against the Kerasoka elves and the Fall of Órlbelle.
- Sol is the last known surviving member of House Velca of Órlbelle, and as such he is the Turco, or Lord, of House Velca. Since the fall of Órlbelle after the Curse, this is largely a courtesy title and holds no real standing.
- Sol’s best friend is Dash O’Dell, a master clothier and haberdasher in the North District.
- Sol has a house in the North District and has four servants (butler, housekeeper, manservant, and housemaid).
- Sol has four cats, two females and two neutered males, that he cares for very deeply.
- Sol has no known offspring, but he’s investigating a suspicion of a possible daughter with a past lover.
- Sol is currently unmarried and without any romantic partners at this time.
- Sol’s magic was stripped from him at the time of Bhelest’s Curse and being around magic tends to make him feel itchy and unsettled. It’s like a phantom limb pain.
- Sol tasted a drink called Phoenix Fire in Verdant Row’s Heartbroken Socks Inn’s bar, and he’s determined to find more of it.
- Sol lost his younger sister and father in the fall of Órlbelle. This sent his mother into a depression for some time. He and his mother lived in the woods for around two years before relocating to Fellsgard.
- Sol’s company, Mistfire Trading Company, has an extensive network and largely trades spices and other foodstuffs. They have a fleet of ships and boats available for business (and the occasional personal use).
