Classes

An average Khy'eras citizen is content with the mundane flow of life. Wake up, get ready, perform at a job, and come back home again to spend the remaining hours of the day with the family or getting ready to sleep. After previous wars and battles, most look forward to an era of peace. Luckily, we are not here to tell stories about ordinary folk. We are here to tell stories about those that travel the lands, seeking experience and adventures.

Call these people what you want - troublemakers, thrill-seekers, or mercenaries - the Khy'eras denizens that have left their homes did so by exercising caution, study, and interest in the outside. Before exploring, adventurers have managed to survive by labeling themselves as particular "Classes" - clusters of people that have competence for situations that require magic, combat, and/or support. Though these classes may appear to be of free will, they are bound to their personas, protecting the realm from threats no matter how big or small.

Combat

Wanderers who prefer to get their point across using actions rather than words may be lumped into the "Combat" category. These people revel in the feeling of a weapon grasped in their hands and base any offensive or defensive situations on skills formulated to fit a chosen armament. Though the awareness of fight typically comes before anything else, some of the below classes practice their battle arts with extreme dedication.

Magic

Although a very broad term in the realm of Khy'eras, the word "Magic" can be used to describe people that are adept with conjuring spells to keep enemies at bay. However, the practice of magic goes beyond this. Arcane energy may be used to help allies with tasks such as creating defensive walls, unlocking doors that have been shut tight, or bending the elements to help a person survive a situation. There are countless spells in the world and people tend to always show surprise with what mages have in store.

The classes listed in this group focus on skills that promote healing, enhancing the senses of allies, or granting the upper-hand in battle. But this technical description is only a small portion of what Supportive classes can do. An adventurer would be wise to have a Supportive friend alongside them while journeying.
