Miniature edition: about three inches tall. Midsize bit: 5'4". Uses glamour to appear taller so there is a Vente size.
Weight:
Unknown... but he is always told he's heavier than he looks.
Complexion:
Pale but not sickly ya know?
Hair:
Dark brown if not completely black. It's straight and he keeps it pretty short but with enough to run his fingers through.

Red amber.
Other Features

His typical use of magic generally involves fire and glamour. Both of which don't require much thought for him to use. He does have limits so he is rarely using his magic to show off unnecessarily or overreach the magic required for a task.

Social Interactions

Relationships and Companions

Snowball - a Slyscera Snow Cat he obtained rather luckily on his first visit to Domrhask.

"Slyscera Snow Cat - The appearance is about two to three feet at the shoulders and six feet from nose to tail. Their typical home is found in the snowy mountain ranges of Irtuen Reaches. They are solitary animals with dense fur that varies in shades of white to gray with absolutely not spotting to grayish spotting splashed over their body and rings along the end of their tail. Their ears are short and round with long fur protruding from the ends that make them look pointed. They are generally uncommon as pets or companions and hunted for their fur. As an adaptation to the territory and need for navigating treacherous mountain ranges, all Slyscera Snow Cats have two extra toes on each foot - it creates more surface area to prevent sinking in the snow and more grip for tricky ledge climbing. Diet consists of mainly meat, but those in found further south tend to eat fruits as well."

Personality

Repugnant. Let's get the unpleasantries out of the way. The dude is a bit of a stick in the mud or ass. He can be charming if he wants but so far, the only peoples he has openly gotten along with are the Dwarves and that is very likely because they share a mutual grump. If he isn't being completely resistant to social affairs, he is annoying in a particularly purposeful sort of way. His crude behavior is the result of a coping mechanism he developed after his mother took on the role of Voice after being chosen. It turned him into an outcast, having always been one but it had never been outwardly expressed by others.

From a young age, he has always wondered about the world and had dreamy thoughts akin to, "There has got to be more to the world than this." It was thoughts like this (among other things) that spurred him to ultimately venture from his home.

His moral compass is a bit skewed. He does know right from wrong but when faced with survival, he is totally okay with stealing from someone if that means he gets to eat that night or has a roof over his head. Shifting things in his favor is always right to him and yes that absolutely makes him selfish. There have only been a few instances when he has been wholly selfless.

He avoids individuals that seem genuine in a good way. Honest, good, morally sound individuals who live on acts of kindness make him incredibly uncomfortable. So he either ignores them, avoids them completely, but will be unnecessarily shitty if cornered and forced to be on the receiving end of their kindness. Mostly he bitterly tolerates them until they go away.

History

Born and raised in Ajteire. Cas didn't have any siblings and perhaps that has a lot to do with his mother and only parent, who took the culture of fae very seriously, being a Voice. His young life altered drastically the day she was chosen and even with a child barely the age of five, she willingly - graciously even - accepted the honor. This very moment shaped and darkened the outlook Casmire had for his life among the fae. He often refers to this as the day she died. The loss of his mother via her choosing being a Voice over him, overshadowed his entire childhood.

Ajteire as a whole sort of took on rearing Cas, fostering his upbringing in spite of his bitter resistance. He focused on things that distracted him such as magic and picking fights. A great deal of empathy was involved when dealing with him, which only instilled a sharp dislike for others in general. The last thing he wanted was pity from others even if they tried to paint it as kind understanding. Besides, his mother was a Voice, so there was some honor in seeing that he was taken care of.

Cas was 84 years old when he left Ajteire. It marked a year before his mother would resign as a Voice and essentially be returned to the land. Saying goodbye to his mother a second time was not on his list of things he wanted to ever do again. He did it in his own way, and in a way, he can still hear her voice. Her face has long been lost to him, however. It wasn't the first time he'd ever visited the trees for council. But at the age of 84, Cas sought counsel from the trees for the last time.

It was a few years after he'd arrived at Fellsgard - the travel proving far more treacherous than he'd expected - that an endless night cloaked all of Khy'eras.

Cas used his glamour to hide among the humans of Fellsgard for the majority of his time out in public. He doesn't talk a lot about the times when Cecilia still lived and doesn't share any openly approving opinions of the heroine. In fact, if you come across him, he doesn't readily share that he's been venturing Khy'eras for so long. Most assume he came out of the fae's hiding place after the fall of Bhelest.

He didn't stick around for the rebuild of Fellsgard and instead took off on an adventure, tagging along with a few groups. Eventually winding up in Irtuen Reaches. It was his first visit where he really made his mark with the Dwarves for they shared a mutual dislike for most everyone. It was also during his time in Domrhask that he came across a young snow cub whose mother had fallen prey to poaching. They hadn't wanted to give him the animal but he managed to win a bet and in doing so, he left Domrhask with a small little snow cub called Snowball.

The years following Bhelest's defeat have been spent mostly traveling.
