Personality
While he has changed significantly, there are still plenty of remnants of his old self. Generally he is soft-spoken and polite. However a degree of arrogance still lingers, topped off with a deep hatred of what he is and quite a bit of self-pity that hasn't dissipated completely. He also has a bit of self destructive tendencies at times and can get reckless in some situations.
He looks out for others and tries to be selfless, but thirst for blood sometimes gets in the way of that. He attempts to be better than his former self, but a lack of care for himself results in rather pitiful attempts to fulfil that wish. He is approachable, but is afraid to make lasting connections with others despite his craving for it. He is driven by a rumour of a cure for his "punishment" and, despite his self-hatred, he is still quite vain and cares about his appearance, be it physical or social.

History
After his fall from grace and change, he ironically sought "salvation" with the Eidolon of fire and the sun. From then on, he devoted his life to purging the world of monsters in Ristgir's name and helping others. However this devotion of his doesn't always go as smoothly as one would expect.

History
A man fallen from grace. Morgan Redding was once a knight who fought in the name of Fellsgard's council. He was a great commander, dangerous swordsman, and a man of the people. However things got worse. His fame and status went to his head, with paranoia and ludicrous ideas starting to fester. He started to worry about his image and status. Fears of being stabbed in the back began to plague him, and the brutal reality of age was steadily creeping with each birthday.
He heard of a rumour of a woman in the north that could grant people immortality. There were a bunch of other bits to the story, but he chose to ignore them. The first bit was what he was after. He didn't care about the rest.
That mistake would prove to be his downfall.
The woman was a Korcai, hiding in the frozen woods of the north. Their meeting naturally went very south and he was sent back into the world, now a thing. Undead. He got his wish. He was now a better fighter, immortal, stronger and faster than any normal person... and hindsight set in quickly.
Fearing for his life, or lack thereof, he fled into the wilds. He abandoned Fellsgard and roamed the wilderness for a long time. One morning, the sun caught him by surprise and he nearly burned to a crisp. This moment awakened something within him. He saw it as a message from Ristgir, a lesson to open his eyes to his own flaws. He found a purpose in that moment. He vowed to devote his life to Ristgir and to help cleanse the lands of monsters like himself. He would be better than he was, be a man of the people once more.
In reality it wasn't so dramatic, and he merely became a monster hunter that occasionally drank the blood of his clients and sounded rather full of himself, much to his own dismay. Wanting to keep a low profile, he never settled down and didn't stay in one place for long.
