Physical Features

Height:
6ft 4in
Weight:
190 lbs
Figure:
Yvirath is a cautious creature. When out and about, she's normally draped from head to toe in plain, dark fabrics. Transfiguration magic was never a focus on her Druid path, so she relies on loose fabrics to distort her figure and bindings to steady her wings and tail, as well as wrap the black scales of her appendages. Her methods of concealing constructs quite the intimidating silhouette with her robes. To start, she towers over the average female "human". The bound set of wings, hiding beneath rolling cloth, give the appearance of a warrior's broad shoulder and back. The large set of hands and forearms known to the Ue'drahc only adds to this massive, cloaked warrior's guise. Little do most passing by know what they see contrasts greatly with the feminine frame hidden beneath the swarthy robes.

But, she often uses the amount of time it takes to conceal herself as an excuse to indulge in her hermit ways.

Social Interactions

Romantic Orientation:
Panromantic
Sexual Orientation:
Demisexual
Personality

Yvirath is arduously reserved. She is good-natured and always willing to help, but she keeps an uncomfortable distance at first. She is bullheaded and has been known to follow her own direction before that of others. On the other hand, she is no stranger to cooperation. She can be an Ue'drahc of few words and not much for conversation, relishing in the awkward silence. However, it is possible to break through her walls. All it takes is either time or some inebriates.

Religion

Belief:
Atheism
History

A blend of nature and nurture has led Yv down a path of Atheism. However, one may still call her religious. She keeps to a moral code and carries plenty of ego-wrenching parables. These she may share on adventures. However, she would never speak of the dogmas and prophecies she carries with her from her home.

Background

Birthday:
Ninth day of the eleventh month in 243 AoN
Age:
47, but due to her race, she maintains the appearance of someone half her age.
Origin:
A secluded rural village
Residence:
Campfire-hopping, headed west to Fellsgard
History

Yvirath hails from a secluded village, situated in a valley surrounded by forest in the Northeastern corner of Tviyr. Her village is about a two days walk to the Ordinuad River, if one knows how to navigate the densely packed evergreens of Slyscera’s foothills. The rolling forestscape keeps their village tucked out of sight and out of mind.

By trade, Yv is a goat herder, a family tradition she eagerly followed. There's no need for working dogs when an Ue'drahc is watching over the herd. Their wings and claws provide enough agility and defense to keep the stock together and protected. It can be quite the lonesome work, but Yvirath has always preferred her own company, or at least she believed. For decades, she spent as many nights as she could muster, beneath the stars and resting amongst her herd.

This Ue'drahc is quite the hermit, and had never been keen on the adventuring way of life. Every time an Ue'drahc was chosen in her village to travel, she breathed a sigh that it was not her. So of course, when it is her time to depart, she is not too thrilled at being chosen to be taking on Khy’eras head on, for the sake of another. (Especially considering the company she's required to keep. But more on that later.) She certainly didn’t leave the safety and familiarity of her village without leaving a piece of her mind. Fate has little time for hurt egos when chance and circumstance begins to spiral.

Skills

Like most magically-inclined of her village, she is well-trained in the Druid magic practiced in her rural village: terramancy and ventimancy. Winds aid her in guiding her flock home. Plants often used in medicine and cuisine propagates at the call of her will. Meditation is a daily practice, a skill she learned from her father. The practiced has allowed her so much insight into her self, both mind and body. Most young and able bodies in the village learn and practice an acrobatic martial arts style that has been in development for generations. The style is fluid in nature, and evolves with each generation. Yvirath is self-trained with the staff, which is both used as a focus for her magic and as a ground for her martial arts. The staff is also used to channel her magic. The staff is actually a stang that she uses to tend the dirt in her garden.
