As the two got close enough for Helo to feel comfortable whilst not in his cat form, he gave Kit a reassuring smile. "Listen, try not to worry about today. We have all the time in the world, and I am sure you'll get better at it."

When the two had parted ways, Helo set off back, strolling idly. It hadn't been a particularly productive day, but it had been nice to hang out with the boy, and at times, despite the effort Kit was putting in, the two had laughed at some of the ridiculous answers Kit asked in their attempt for the young mage to be able to use his 'empathy magic.'

That night, in his cat form and under a pile of blankets Helo slept a dreamless sleep.

But he was soon awakened. At first a cat-yowl, then a man's cry, he shook awake, gasping for breath. He had felt it. He had felt her. He had felt the spell that had bound him to her service, the one she had used on him that had almost got him killed.

He did not know what was happening, but all he knew for certain was that Katarya Frost was back in Fellsguard, and her power of him was flowing once again.
