Re: Mac's
"I suppose Mac is too busy to make an appearance," she said. "Almost always is."
During Piers' conversation with his "companion", the waitress went off to fill an order for a customer and upon her return, saw that they had helped themselves to another bottle and glasses off a table. She let out a loud huff, but reading the label from afar, hastily scribbled down the bottle name so she could give them a proper tab later.
Although it was one of Fellsgard's most popular spots to drink and dine, Mac's was home to the somewhat less refined folk: sailors, construction workers, armor crafters, shop keeps, etc... It was less popular to people who lived in the Noble District. As there was a deep conversation concerning the notes, flavors, and age of the beverage, the waitress rolled her eyes wondering what why they were scrutinizing a drink so much. Eventually, Piers sauntered off to a table - bottle and glass in hand - and the waitress returned her attention to the customers.

Re: Mac's
His chosen place was empty for now, but that could change any time. A pleasant music was coming from the stage. He hadn't heard it before yet he appreciated spirit lifting sound. The performer definitely new his business. While the sorcerer listened his waiter arrived.
"Welcome to Mac's sir, what can I get you today?" The server wondered to himself why this Lumeacian had vermillion hair. It was strange, however his job wasn't to question the elves' fashion choice.
Kelwin looked at the menu for a few moments. He found himself lost in the massive amount of choices. Not wanting to take too much time from the waiter he answered quickly. "I'll just take whatever today's special is." His superior hearing picked up the sudden silence at the nearby tables. That made him more curious about trying the food.

Re: Mac's
But as one could imagine, Mac's was open and busy, people huddling inside the chowder house to warm not only their bones, but their bellies. In anticipation for the day, Mac prepared and employed a few more waiters on staff so it was not long before an apron-wearing man was scribbling down Kelwin's order. The man lifted his brow at Kelwin ordering the special, as the item was very unfitting for a Lumeacia's taste. Nevertheless, the waiter proceeded to the kitchen to fill the order.
When the waiter returned, the bowl set before Kelwin was full of a thick, deep red broth. Within the broth was a mixture of chunks of shrimp, lobster, and clams; diced tomatoes; onions; corn; and beans. It was a bowl of Mac's spiciest Seafood Chili which was sure light a fire in Kelwin's stomach and mouth. Thinking, the waiter smiled politely and nodded to Kelwin before heading off again.
"I'll bring you a pitcher of water."

Re: Mac's
He dipped his spoon in the chilli and started by sampling the meats. The shrimp was perfectly steamed. The lobster was even better and pratically melted in his mouth. The clam was seasoned with amazing balance. It was so good he was eating it rather fast. The vegetables were bursting with flavor. When he started sipping the broth the delayed burn for the whole meal finally hit him. Kelwin started coffing as he felt the sting from lips to stomach.
As if by wish alone the waiter returned with a pitcher of water. "There you go sir drink it slow alright." The Lumeacian's pale skin was gradually turning red as he struggled with the ultimate in spicy seafood.
The elf monk grabbed the pitcher with surprising speed and precision. At this point he was sweating profusely. He almost gulped the liquid, but remembered the servers suggestion and took it slow. He looked at the person that saved him. "Thanks a lot, your a life saver." He handed over the required coins, then added a sizable tip for good measure. Now that Kelwin knew what his stomach was facing he ate the rest slowly.

Re: Mac's
She had completed her apprenticeship as a Mage three months ago. Her master, Lyster Grinswater, used her thieving talents to collect things of interest to him: spell components, items of magical interest like other mages' spells books.
Her first profession is that of a thief. She was out on the streets running wild since she was a pup. Shapeshifter children have a hard start in a lot of societies. She ended up being part of a thieves’ guild called the Silver Arrows. “Grey” was her handler in the guild. He is the one who set her up with Master Grinswater. The arrangement was simple, they both could use my services and Master Grinswater would take care of me paying a small fee for the items acquired.
So Aryn has a love-hate relationship with the two men in her life, they are the only family she knows and she hates them because they try to make her do things she does not want to do.
Aryn kind of enjoyed the game of being a thief. She liked to match wits with others. She loved learning about other things, like making things and operating things like locks. She liked the thrill of magic, imposing her will on the universe. She loved shape-changing because that is who she truly is.
Aryn had spent the day worked the busy pedestrian traffic of the district to get enough money to really eat. Traveling made her diet a little sparse: some mice, a couple of birds, and one rabbit. (Her first form is that of a house cat.) Now she wanted to stuff herself with real food.
Aryn sits close to the fireplace and pulls a book she is stitching the bind on as she waits for the serving girl to come to take her order. She was hoping to meet some people who might help her.
